Maybe you’re bored with chicken. Maybe it’s cliche at a large meeting or a convention. But maybe planners and attendees should consult the World Health Organization before plucking the bird off the menu. On Monday, WHO declared that bacon, hot dogs and other processed meats cause cancer. It didn’t stop there, either. Red meats including beef, veal, lamb and pork are also “probably carcinogenic.” That leaves chicken as the last meat standing. It may be boring and cliche, but hey—it doesn’t cause cancer. That is, until a new health study says it does.
