President and Creative Director, Elite Productions International, Laguna Niguel, Calif.
What I do:
I create magical moments for clients for their social events, marketing events and fundraisers.
How I got here:
I have been a serial entrepreneur since the age of 16. I started in the fashion industry, where I worked for over 14 years. I transitioned into the floral industry by chance. After taking floral classes during the market crash in the ’80s, I built my business from just doing flowers to an international event production company.
Making our clients look good is always my motto. I have produced incredible events that looked three times more expensive than they actually were, which allowed major sponsors such as airlines and jewelry brands to pick up all costs for those events. Our client went in at zero cost and gained hundreds of thousands of dollars for their annual fundraiser.
What I am working on right now:
Super excited about a project we are discussing with clients for a product launch. Excited about this project because it has a bunch of new challenges. We are looking at mixing beauty, fashion and technology for this launch as a hybrid event with a global audience.
My greatest career accomplishment:
I appreciate being continually recognized by my industry peers for producing exceptional events and as a leader in the industry. Also, all the amazing human connections and relationships I’ve gained in the process.
What I do outside of work:
I have served on several boards like multiple Chambers of Commerce. I’ve chaired the event department and ran all city events for them, and I’m on the board of Chapman University School of Entrepreneurs.
Favorite vacation destination:
Bali is one of my go to places for reset and spiritual discoveries. I’ve been traveling there for the past 16 years. I normally stay a while when I go and change multiple hotels.
