Housed in the former W New Orleans building, the new Le Meridien New Orleans reopened in December 2014 after undergoing a $29 million upgrade to its 410 guest rooms and 13,000 square feet of meeting space. Situated only a half-mile from the 1.1 million-sq.-ft. Ernest N. Morial Convention Center, Le Meridien added 1,600 square feet of meeting space in the renovation, including enhanced lighting and sound features, as well as refreshed table settings, carpet and decor. For post-meeting play, attendees will love Le Meridien’s close proximity to New Orleans’ famous French Quarter, steps from the hotel. Cajun cuisine and handcrafted cocktails are available on-site at LMNO, the hotel’s full-service restaurant and bar. Guests can also hang out on the fourth floor, which has a rooftop pool, lounge and waterside cabanas, or stick around in the lobby at the Hub, a coffeehouse by day and bar by night.
Insider Tip: Sip on the official cocktail of New Orleans, the Sazerac, with a modern, bubbly twist at Le Meridien’s Longitude 90 bar.
