What I do: I have the privilege of representing the business development (sales) department for our organization. I take a proactive approach to building relationships with meetings and conferences, and travel trade clients to ultimately place their business in our destination and hotels. I work hand in hand with the West Hollywood hotel community to ensure we are aligned, and that we continue to drive combined sales efforts.
Greatest career accomplishment: Becoming a director of sales and marketing under the age of 30.
Specific improvement I’ve made: We have made a proactive effort to target and attract the luxury meetings, incentive, convention, and exhibits/events (MICE) business, not just domestically, but from our key international markets as well. Focusing on qualified in-market visits and leveraging our digital efforts and strategies.
What I am working on now: We are working on attracting mini citywides to our world-famous Sunset Strip district.
