Katie Muck's main challenge with Meeting Sites Resource is educating her clients on the ways the meetings market has flipped. "We're seeing rates, terms and contracts being tougher than they were even 12 to 18 months ago," says Muck. She encourages her clients to have backup destinations and properties prepared for worst case scenarios. "Maybe the first property isn't the right fit," Muck suggests, "it may not be the best outcome that the customer really wants to derive from that particular program."
