Without further ado, here you go: 1. Make a small change in your event and DO NOT ask for permission. Focusing on one element and altering it can serve as a case study. 2. Find out what names/emotions/thoughts your members/attendees use to describe your organization. It may be different from what you think they would say. 3. Listen more. 4. Names of events/organizations don’t matter as much as you think. Don't stress over it. Think of Apple, Google and Zappos. 5. Find out where your audience is and meet them there. If they’re not on social media, don’t do social media. If they’re email-driven, keep a regular email blast. Put your effort in finding them where they want to be found. 6.
