Wellness isn’t a trend in Park City, Utah; it’s a way of life. A strong sense of community among locals and visitors skips right over the pretentiousness found in other mountain resort towns. An air of innovation and a sense of respect for what’s possible are nurtured in this city that played host to part of the 2002 Winter Olympics. And it’s all made that much better by fresh mountain air and prestigious scenery. If you’ve never taken a tournament to Park City, it’s time to take a close look at this treasure.
Utah Olympic Park
From the moment you enter Utah Olympic Park, you get the vibe that it’s a special place. Indeed, as host of the 2002 Winter Games, this facility almost singlehandedly shaped Park City into what it’s known as today.
Nearly 15 years after the Olympics, the park continues to be a favorite venue for training, competition and recreational opportunities for athletes. This summer, it was host to the North American Jindro Mayer Springer Tournee + U.S. Large Hill Ski Jumping & Nordic Combined Championships, as well as the Psicobloc Masters Series and Red Bull 400. This winter, the park will welcome the FIL Luge World Cup and the 2017 USANA FIS Nordic Junior and U23 World Ski Championships.
