Up for Bid: 2017 PDGA United States Women’s Disc Golf Championship

The Professional Disc Golf Association is currently seeking proposals to host its 2017 PDGA United States Women’s Disc Golf Championships. This three-day national competition is limited to qualified amateur and professional women disc golfers who compete for prizes and national championship titles in multiple age-based divisions. It is expected to draw between 60 and 125 competitors. Here are the details: Deadline to bid: January 29 Time of year: Negotiable (historically early to mid-September) Venue requirements: One to two championship-caliber courses within 20 miles of the event center. Number of participants: 60-125 Hotel requirements: Centrally located between courses; 500-sq.-ft. tournament office; free Wi-Fi.
