Up for Bid: 2022 US Youth Soccer National Championships and Presidents Cup

US Youth Soccer is seeking bids to host its National Championships and National Presidents Cup in 2022. Here are the details:

2022 US Youth Soccer National Championships

Deadline to Bid: April 17, 2020

Dates: July 25-31, 2022

Estimated number of participants and attendees: 104 boys and girls teams from 13U-19U, or roughly 2,000 players, plus coaches, families and spectators.

Venue Requirements: A minimum of 16 fields at the same facility must be secured, eight of which must be lighted and one which should be a stadium type field. If your city is geographically located so that playing games during the daylight hours in July are dangerous due to extreme weather conditions, then a minimum of 12 lighted fields are required. The stadium must have spectator seating capacity of at least 1,500.

Hotel Requirements: Within 30-minute drive of venue 

Room nights: 8,750

Estimated Economic Impact: $3.6 million

2022 US Youth Soccer National Presidents Cup

Deadline to Bid: April 17, 2020.

Dates: July 13-17, 2022

Estimated number of participants: 48 boys and girls team from 13U to 18U 

Venue Requirements: A minimum of 10 fields must be secured, 4 of which must be lighted. If your city is geographically located so that playing games during the daylight hours in June or July is dangerous due to extreme weather conditions, then a minimum of eight lighted fields are required. All match fields must be located at the same facility. Training fields are permitted to be located off site.

Hotel Requirements: Must be within a 30-minute drive of facility.

Room Nights: 2,960 

Estimated Economic Impact: $800,000-$1.2 million
