The Nebraska Cornhuskers have a new home for hoops this year. The $179 million Pinnacle Bank Arena
will open in Lincoln, Neb., in September after two years of construction. The facility features six meeting rooms, a full F&B staff and cutting-edge AV amenities. It’s a 12-minute drive from the Lincoln Airport and within walking distance of the University of Nebraska’s Memorial Stadium.

The arena is the cornerstone of Lincoln’s $344 million West Haymarket redevelopment effort. The 472,500-sq.-ft. structure will host a series of concerts before the Nebraska men’s and women’s teams open their seasons on Nov. 8. The Lady Huskers made the NCAA Tournament in three of the past four seasons and advanced to the Sweet 16 earlier this year. The men’s team is hoping the arena will help usher in a new era of success.
