Mississippi Coast Coliseum & Convention Center
Mississippi Coast Coliseum and Convention Center is a 400,000-sq.-ft. beachfront facility that can handle groups of up to 6,000 people. Best of all, you’ll make the most of your attendees’ break times when you choose to hold your meeting in the heart of one of the fastest-growing resort destinations in the region. Hall E exhibit hall houses a 127,100-sq.-ft. space with lots of floor capacity and seven private meeting rooms. The exhibit hall has the latest in telecommunications, storage and F&B capabilities. In the new 17,100-sq.-ft. west lobby, you’ll find a very special niche perfect for registration, a continental breakfast or a reception.
The Gulfport Sportsplex is a 250-acre recreational park conveniently located near Interstate 10. The Sportsplex has nine terraced baseball fields with hybrid sand-based turf, crimson-stone infields, scoring towers, four international-size soccer fields, and a control center with concessions and restrooms. An extra amenity on-site is Gulf Islands Waterpark featuring wild rides, miles of slides, plus much more.
In 2016, the Sportsplex hosted 64 tournaments, 2,640 teams, and an estimated 80,000 visitors. Construction is currently underway on an $8.5 million dollar expansion to add a complex with six synthetic turf fields with LED lighting, two stadium fields for football and soccer, as well as new restroom facilities. The new complex is scheduled to open February 2018.
