Show Me Center
Show Me Center has earned a national reputation for service and flexibility as the winner of the Facility and Event Management Prime Site Award every year since 1997. This outstanding multipurpose facility is the home court of the Redhawks varsity basketball teams of Southeast Missouri State University and the region’s hub for sports events, performances, concerts and conventions. Due to its unique design, Show Me Center is versatile enough to stage multiple events simultaneously and flexible enough to host a rodeo or convention one evening and a sports event the next. Shawnee Park Sports Complex
Shawnee Park Sports Complex is 120 acres of sports action featuring 14 convertible soccer and football fields of various sizes and eight regulation softball and baseball fields. The complex has hosted state and regional events for NSA, USGF, USSSA, ASA and SMSC. Conveniently located off of Highway 74 and only 2 miles from the city’s historic downtown, the complex offers great amenities such as playgrounds, air-conditioned restrooms, covered dugouts, three concession facilities under pavilions, free parking, multiple entrance and exit points, and covered dugouts with water fountains, electric scoreboards and more.
The softball and baseball area includes two lighted fields with outfield fences at 330 feet and center field at 375 feet, as well as six lighted fields with 300-ft. fences. Shawnee Park Center is a multipurpose building in the complex that’s perfect for event registration. It houses a 6,500-sq.-ft. gym, a 1,500-sq.-ft. meeting room, a fitness room and a kitchen.
