The Professional Disc Golf Association is seeking proposals to host its 2020 Amateur Disc Golf World Championships. This eight-day (Saturday to Saturday) international competition is limited qualified amateur disc golfers who compete for world championship titles in multiple age and gender based divisions. Here are the details: Deadline to Bid: Nov. 1 Time of Year: Mid-July Venue Requirements: At least five 18-hole championship-caliber disc golf courses; parking for 300-500 cars at main showcase course as well as 40,000 square feet of green space for spectator and vendor area; parking for 100 cars at satellite courses. Estimated number of participants: 500-800 Hotel requirements: Centrally located between courses; meeting space for 600-800; free Wi-Fi and parking Room nights: 250+/- Suggested Rate: $100/night Rights Fee: None For the complete RFP, click here.
