The Professional Disc Golf Association is seeking proposals to host its 2020 Professional Disc Golf World Championships. This eight-day international competition is limited to qualified professional disc golfers who compete for world championship titles male and female Open divisions. Here are the details: Deadline to Bid: Nov. 1 Time of Year: Early June to September Venue Requirements: At least one 18-hole championship caliber disc golf course and satellite course; parking for 300-500 cars at main competitive venue and 100 cars for satellite venues; 50,000 square feet of green space for spectator and vendor village Estimated number of participants: 288 Hotel requirements: Centrally located between courses; meeting space for 300-500; free Wi-Fi and parking Room nights: Approximately 100 Rate: $100/night Rights Fee: None For the complete RFP, click here.
