Up for Bid: 2021 PDGA Masters Disc Golf World Championships

The Professional Disc Golf Association is seeking proposals to host its 2021 PDGA Masters Disc Golf World Championships. This weeklong (Saturday to Saturday) international competition is limited to qualified professional and amateur disc golfers who compete for world championship titles in age-based mixed and female divisions.

Here are the details:

Deadline to Bid: Nov. 1

Time of Year: Mid-June to late-August

Venue Requirements: 6-8 championship-level courses depending on number of participants; parking for 300-400 cars at main competitive venue and 150 cars for satellite venues; 50,000 square feet of green space for spectator and vendor village; various meeting spaces, including room for 150-200 attendees for awards banquet.

Estimated number of participants: 450-650

Hotel requirements: Centrally located between courses; free Wi-Fi and parking

Room nights: 220

Rate: $100/night
