Dustin B. Arnheim
35, Director of Sales
How I got here:
“I was a pre-med student who found a much more exciting industry. I started as a corporate management trainee at Hyatt Regency McCormick Place
in Chicago and was promoted to a leadership role in Indianapolis. After a five-year career with Hyatt, Visit Indy recruited me to open its satellite office in Chicago.”
“I led the sales team through a challenging time in March 2015 as the state embarked on changing religious freedom laws. Ultimately, we saved the organization more than
1 million hotel room nights equating to $1.2 billion in economic impact.”
Arnheim led Visit Indy to two consecutive record-breaking years in room nights for 2014-15. In 2015, the CVB booked 900,000 room nights, helping the Indianapolis earn the No. 1 convention city title by USA Today.
