Timo Kiuru 33 Founder The Unthinkable, Helsinki and MiamiWhat I do: “I work with the world’s leading brands and agencies as creative director and/or consultant on experiential marketing projects. As a creative director I lead the creative planning process, coach the creative team and am responsible for interacting with clients.”
How I got here: “I was responsible for MTV Media events as an executive producer. In 2011, I joined international marketing agency Louder, where I handled experiential and integrated marketing campaigns for clients like Nokia and Bestseller Group before starting my own company, joining Jack Morton Worldwide in Seoul, South Korea, and working with clients like Samsung and McLaren Automotive.”
Bragging rights: Kiuru has produced a TV show, founded two companies, helped launch the Samsung Galaxy S6 and recently wrote “Experiential Creative Planning: How to Plan a World-Class Event.” The crib notes? Kiuru explains illustrative event concepts and designs, discusses the entire industry’s need for recognition and shares insights from event bigwigs.
